Last day of school. OR NOT!!!

So today is the last day of school. Supposedly. Except for that we're gonna have to stay for another 2 extended weeks to jump ahead the curriculum. Which is crap - totally crap. I swear I'm gonna sleep for the next whole 2 weeks, I SWEAR!

Anyway, this is still the last day of school, at least for sec 1 and 2. And to think that such a wealthy state would actually have no ceremony whatsoever... Graduation for sec 4 is after their 'O' level, and not until next January will they completely leave school.

Damn... the last month of school is supposed to be all-play-no-study. Students are supposed to be extremely slacking. Yet here they still carry out their work so dutifully that it hurts my brain. And heaps and heaps of homework are piling up on my desk.

There's something seriously wrong with Singaporeans' way of life...

Anyway, PoT is such a smutty fandom. I mean you can hardly find a dou without two (or more, which is worse) guys pinning each other against the wall or down the bed (ah~~) Not that I hate smut - I just can't stand pure smut without any plot or at least subplot. I'm way too young and innocent.

And Fuji's such an angel *point at icon" *puppy eyes*. I mean it literally - there's an episode where he actually becomes an angel (with white wings and everything) XD"



And I have proof for TezuFuji. Canon not-so-subtle proof . (And again, the anime is pure fanservice, seriously)


The scene is innocent itself. Yet as little as my knowledge of romance, I totally understand that snow means a lot of things. And umbrella as well.


The same goes with sakura. This is supposedly what's happening in their heads. What's it supposed to mean when you imagine both of you surrounded by sakura?

And this is one of the episodes that imply a whole lot of things. An AU chibi episode that takes place in the West, where Fuji is a damsel-in-distress that goes searching for Tezuka the legendary gunman XD"


He is so pretty as a cross-dresser... ="=


And he (she) has fantasy about Tezuka.



And his (her) eyes sparkle when he (she) sees Tezuka.

Fanservice FTW :-S

I don't really like smuts where people just pin each other on the nearest surface without any plots ongoing either. Although when I'm desperate about some pairing, I might actually enjoy them.

If the smuts are not of such considerable amount then I might have enjoyed them much more =v= What's the point of drawing the same scene over and over again =v=

(I've never seen that much smut in HnG fandom before. HnG's actually rather full of crack and gags though, which is not really better. But seriously, at least Aki and Hika are 15! These boys here are 14 at most for god's sake! ="=)

The thing is that hinted parings are much more attractive. Take PoT for example: TezuFuji is the most popular pair, even though there is another pair in the canon that is much more married than them. I think if TezuFuji ever gets together in the canon, the fandom would be not as huge = =

Another thing is that we fangirls tend to separate obvious couples and bind less related people together. It's in our nature =v= Never satisfied with canon... ="=

I haven't read OP that much, so I really don't read OP fics. But I suddenly have this thought: Oda's art and sense of humor really affects the proportion of fanboys in the fandom. Maybe that's why the fandom is less angsty? (as far as I know, fandoms that are popular with girls are usually flooded with angst, despite how light the canon is).

And HnG is a wonderful fandom. Compared to a lot of other fandoms, the fics are generally of higher quality. It's just that I need more long fics. I hate drabbles and I'm needy for 30-40k-word fics =v=

PoT fandom... I don't know. There are way too many ficlets and drabbles, and not enough longer fics (as a result of the canon's poor plot, most fics end up short fluffy stuff or short angst stuff or character-study stuff)

Well, but the problem is that our OTPs are not those from yaoi manga. We read them in their normal lives, we fell in love with how they interact, and we wished for a further relationship, only that notion is enough to differ from that of yaoi manga pairing - as they usually pair the couple first.

And it's not the 'popularily if they become canon' that's the problem, it's the 'feeling' or 'happiness' of a fangirl when they actually become canon. And also, how the chemistry between the two is carried out by the author too. I mean, of course some pairings work while some don't, but don't you admit you do want your OTP to get together? That is where canon (of a pairing) is better than fanservice (of that same pairing)

And well, as for the separate obvious couples thing and bind less related people, me myself don't usually go for that so I can't say much. The only exception is HisokaIllumi, of which I was heavily influenced by fics, so...

Hm, I don't think the gender of the fans plays much of a role here. I mean, even in the yaoi section of the fandom (which consists of mostly fangirls, yes?) there're hardly any angst at all. Actually I was so angst deprived I had to go to PSoH for my angst fix 8"D'. And OP is definitely not your ordinary 'light manga' either, you realize that I even feel guilty pairing Zoro and Sanji in light of their oh so pure nakamaship ;__;"?

Yeah, although I don't read much of HnG fics, from what I've seen, they're generally of good quality alright. As is the case with OP's :">.

I'm currently temporarily hw-free, but I don't guarantee it'll last though ;_;
