Sometimes I cannot comprehend why there are those with so much free time that they argue on such trivial things. One such example.
Being an outsider is so much fun. So funny is the way they speak, the way they argue, as if they are so VIP, and the subject is so grand, and the fic is so magnificient. It's funny because even if compared to other Vietnamese writing community, Fixi is just a small one with low-quality fictions, yet the administrator decides to name it "The writitng community of Vietnam". Definitely he knows how to dream big, but not act big, since he really pays such little attention to his "writing community of Vietnam" that it has become full of trash.
It's so weird that people care so much about fame here, on the net. What's the point of being famous and popular in this anonymous community anyway? I believe that the most famous Vietnamese online fictioners, such as Kal, KLD, Kea, Reino,... are well-known not because they post their pieces of work everywhere possible and organize a great PR campaign for them, but rather due to their high-quality writing and their immense contribution to the development of Vietnamese online fictions. They don't deliberately try to be famous and they do everything just because they love writing; and that's the true spirit.
However, I also see no point in showing the annoyance to those who do everything for fame and making a big fuss about it. It's just one person, one case in Fixi. And what if she becomes popular? Those with right eyes and right minds will definitely know how to assess it. I haven't read the piece (because I don't like the motif) yet, so I cannot say anything about it, but I feel that by being sarcastic about it, they are actually making it even more famous.
Well, really, they are those without anything to do. I would like to write more, but I'm too much of a sloth to do so. And it's not like I'm as free as them anyway *smile*.
